DESCRIPTION:

This armoured cable power kit has everything you need to get power to your
sheds, outbuildings,green houses or your pond. With full installation instructions.

The product consists of two surface mounted weatherproof enclosures,dimensions 100x100x50mm, manufactured from self-extinguishing,light-grey thermoplastic,which is highly resistant to impact,heat,chemical and atmospheric agents.The lids of the enclosures are retained by four self-tapping screws and are sealed to IP56 with a neoprene gasket.
The one box is fitted with a 3-way terminal connector,this is used for connecting the 3 meters of 3 core mains cable and the armoured cable that goes to the extension connector box.
The Extension Box has fitted in the bottom half a 3-way terminal connector used to connect the armoured cable and one 20mm weatherproof cable gland which will accommodate a cable from 6 to 12mm in diameter.

The product is fully wired with 10,15,20,30 meters of 3 core 1.5mm SWA cable depending on size of kit and only requires connecting to a suitable supply with the 3 meters of 1.5mm cable(supplied and fitted).

Never allow the boxes to become submersed in water.
For extra safety against electric shock we recommend that the power kit mains supply is fitted with a Residual Current Device (which is supplied with kit)

If the product is connected to the house supply by a 13 Amp plug(or the RCD plug) no notification is required to the local building inspector.

If this product is permanently connected to the house supply through a spur or directly connected to the consumer unit the installation should only be carried out by a electrical contractor who is registered under Part P self-certification scheme.
